Hubs and I took the Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University course shortly before our marriage. It was amazing how simple steps could help build wealth so quickly. While Hubs and I are not perfect, we have paid off all of my student loans, own one of our cars, and are very close to paying off our second car. But more importantly, budgeting has gotten us through some tight times in our life when Hubs was unemployed and we were trying to live off of a teacher’s salary. We have made sacrifices, but we have also learned how budgeting and some basic thriftiness could help us work towards our goals even on a less than ideal income.
Sometimes to get what you value most, you need a little more money. Would you like to start your own business, travel more, build passive income, save for retirement, pay off your debt? Goals often require planning, perseverence, and money. Money needs to be organized, and when you systematically organize your budget, you start to take control of it. And, amazingly have more money.
If you are interested in growing your wealth but don’t know where to start, these resources are for you! While it may seem overwhelming, I know with the right tools, you can create and stick to a budget. I am so excited for you to have more money and to grow your wealth.
