At Crowe we are very aware of our Corporate Social Responsibility. We are committed to giving back to the community we work and live in.
Our staff are proud to support a number of local charities each year. Our staff-run Community Impact Committee coordinates a number of initiatives each year where our staff have the opportunity to volunteer, fundraise or gift resources to help make a difference.
Over the last few years we have partnered with a range of charities and below is a snapshot of our staff CSR activities.
We provide sponsorship to the University College Dublin (UCD) Ladies Hockey Club which promotes social sustainability by empowering female athletes, fostering gender equality, and enhancing community engagement through support for women's sport. This sponsorship began in 2023, with funding provided to support eight teams, social hockey events, and a Youth Academy. Since Crowe’s sponsorship, the number of camps provided within this Youth Academy has grown to c.13 camps, a significant increase on previous numbers before sponsorship.
Crowe traded in their desks for a day with Barnardos Ireland to help build a new playground for the children who visit one of Barnardos' inner-city centres in Dublin.
We want to thank the team at Barnardos for giving us the chance to help bring joy to the kids who enter through their doors.
Crowe supported Barnardos Ireland as part of the local Better Finglas Ireland campaign in making a local school more child-friendly and cheerful. Better Finglas is a community-based organisation who support children aged pre-birth to 8 years and their parents to improve their mental health and well-being. We were delighted to bring a smile to the young children in our community and brighten their surroundings.
Crowe invited Sarah Benson, CEO of Women's Aid Ireland, for a live Q&A in our office in March 2025. Sarah provided powerful insights into the statistics surrounding domestic violence and abuse against women in Ireland. A bake sale was held on the day where all proceeds were donated to Women’s Aid Ireland. Raising awareness about domestic violence, fostering community engagement amongst our employees, and raising money to support vital services allows Crowe to contribute to the promotion of improved social sustainability and empowering vulnerable individuals.
Crowe entered a team to participate in Barnardos' Survival Challenge. The challenge involved our team spending 24 hours away from civilisation. It provided a test of survival as well as physical and mental endurance, and helped us achieve our goal of raising awareness and much-needed funding for children who have to survive without their basic needs being met.
For three years, Crowe staff worked with NCBI to provide their support for people experiencing sight loss in Ireland.
Staff volunteered to record a range of children’s short stories and short stories for adults to add to the growing NCBI library. In 2020, when volunteering was curtailed due to restrictions from the pandemic, the firm donated funds to help continue our support.
We have prepared two interactive case studies with samples of the different stories recorded by Crowe employees. Case study 1. Case study 2.
We were delighted to support Depaul Ireland as our charity partner for 2018. Staff chose to work specifically with the local Depaul hostel at Little Britain Street this year after supporting the hostel through the seasonal “Presents for All” initiative in 2016 and 2017.
Our staff carried out a number of different volunteering and fundraising initiatives between June and October 2018 to provide the much-needed support the Little Britain Street hostel's needs.
One of the volunteering projects involved Crowe staff volunteering their personal time over the summer months to design and paint a range of murals and special artworks throughout the Little Britain Street hostel. These artworks were co-developed with the services users of the hostel to draw from their personal memories and experiences.
A number of fundraising initiatives were also planned. Crowe staff raised sponsorship money by taking part in the Woman’s Mini Marathon in June 2018. There were also teams fundraising by participating in the Great Dublin Bike Ride and the Depaul annual Raft Race against Homelessness, which took place in September 2018 in Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock.
Proud to support St. Andrews Resource Centre, Dublin
Our 2017 charity partner was the wonderful local community resource centre St Andrew's on Pearse Street, Dublin 2. St Andrew's offer invaluable support to young and old in an ever-expanding role in the life of the community it continues to serve.

As official club sponsor of UCD Rugby from 2013-2022, we were delighted to have partnered with players and coaches from the club to fundraise on the UCD campus each year for this vital cause. Have a look at our video celebrating our sixth season as the official club sponsor.
