ESG Spring Summit 2025

Crowe was delighted to attend the ESG Spring Summit 2025 held at Croke Park. The event brought together a diverse group of business leaders, subject-matter experts and key stakeholders to explore critical issues and opportunities shaping the sustainability and ESG space. With pressing topics such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU Omnibus Regulation, and the increasing economic impact of climate-related disasters in Ireland at the forefront, the Summit served as a way to exchange ideas and solutions. Participants engaged in discussions on how companies can adapt to evolving regulatory demands while advancing long-term sustainable value.

Part of the Summit was organised into three discussion streams, allowing participants to explore specific focus areas. Crowe’s team attended the stream on transition planning, where discussions centred on how organisations can design and implement credible, effective transition strategies. Industry representatives shared their best practice approaches on embedding ESG into core business strategy.

A particular highlight was the strong presence of Crowe’s ESG team, with Hugh Sullivan, Eimear Rodgers, and Sunniva Henden in attendance. Key takeaways from their time at the Summit include a clear recognition that organisations continue to see long-term value in embedding sustainability and ESG into their operations. Furthermore, the importance of being proactive in responding to emerging risks and regulations, as well as the important role which collaboration and the inclusion of diverse perspectives play in shaping effective and resilient ESG strategies.

The Summit reinforced our commitment to strengthening Crowe’s ESG capabilities. By continuing to invest in our people and staying ahead of developments in this rapidly evolving space, we are confident in our ability to support clients in navigating ESG complexities and achieving sustainable success.
